► Ley Lines

Ley lines are the divisions between modern day kingdoms. They are deep wells of divine energy that run like rivers under the ground. Because of the huge amount of energy contained, they act as a form of barrier to expansion. Kingdoms will never spread beyond these lines.

Humans and fairies born directly on, or very close to, a ley line will have more powerful magic, as compared to those who were not. Their magic is often a combination of the two kingdom's unique magics.

► God Drops

God drops are patches of deep purple soil that contain bizarre plant life. This purple soil only rests on the top, and so the plant life has developed all matter of strange features to gather nutrients from this top layer.

These God drops are found all over the world, with the smallest being only 10 feet in width, with others being close to a mile across.
